    Mirage Nanosats

    Hi.

I am a gamer and I have a set of Mirage Nanosats. I have to say that for surround sound gaming, these things are extremely cool. The tweeter design (OmniGlide) creates such an immersive surround experience that its easy to get lost in the game. Sound comes from all directions, has great highs and mid, and with a good subwoofer (The Mirage Nanosub is good but kind of boomy, not quite natural and tight enough for me, but I actually like several other subs better) you good a full range.

If you are a PC gamer and you have a soundcard with optical out, you can connect to a HT receiver with optical in and use these speakers in their full glory.

And since they are small and relatively light (though much heavier than even good PC speakers) you can place them anywhere - upside down even if you are placing them high - and they are cake to mount. NanoSats Rock!

    Cheers,

HBH, Good point on the 'upside down' thingie- that is a very sage bit of advice. If you are using any of the Nano or Omni sat speakers in a surround configuration, it makes great sense to let the sound 'rain' down on you by flipping them upside down. I'm thinking about 6' above floor level for most instances for great sound and uber-cool looks.

Colter...shame on you no Mirage speakers ! Get going and experience smoothness and less harshness. Wink

    Omni sats make superb sourrounds.

Hey EAR, I did have the V2towers at the House of Klipsch for a bit. Loved the imaging and the way the sound 'followed' you around the room. Brilliant crisp treble range also.
