My OMNI S10 is completely unresponsive. Help!

I have only owned this sub for about 6 months.  I bought it brand new from an authorized dealer.  I loved every second of it until is up and died on me.  The light is no longer on and it is completely unresponsive.  It almost seems like it blew a fuse or something. I haven't even used it that much and it was never pushed too far or abused in any way.  Is there any way I can fix it without shipping it back to Mirage?  I would hate to have to pay for shipping.  I tried calling the 1-800 number on the website but it just kept ringing and ringing.  Thanks for your time. - Brian

If there is no sign of power more than likely it is the fuse. The fuse is located on the back panel near the power cord. Replace the fuse with a T 2.5 A slow blow fuse.

I just looked and there is no fuse on the back of the sub - I wish it were that easy.

I wish I could tell you it was that easy. Here is the response from one of our engineers.

The fuse is located on the amp panel.

It may be accessible through the woofer opening but if not; the woofer must be removed first before removing the amp panel.

All the wires and cables go through some retaining clips and make the amp panel difficult to remove.

Please ensure the correct connections when replacing the woofer.

    The fuse is a T1.25  19mm/ ¾” size.

    Hope this helps.

It looks like the fuse is a T2.5A 250V Slow Blow fuse and it is nowhere to be found.  I tried Radio Shack and a couple electric supply stores.  Is there anyway I can get one or two from Mirage?

We currently do not have any in stock. I did find a site that carries hard to find fuses: http://www.thefusecompany.com/fuse.php?cPath=36&products_id=310

I don't know did you visit the site I provided? That company carries the correct fuses. Using the link I provided will direct you to exact fuse where you can the use the drop down to select the correct rating and place an order.

That company is in the UK - it will probably take forever to get it shipped to me.  I try to find it somewhere in the US first.  Thanks for your help!
