    Crossover settings

I have 2 uni-theaters to make a 6 channel surround and 2 prestige S8 subwoofers. My question is what crossover setting should I use on my reciever? Should I set it at 80hz where the spec sheet says the +/- 3db rolloff is or higher? Thanks a million!!!!

    Re: Crossover settings

I just bought a MX 5.1 and a prestige S10 Subwoofer. I hooked them up via Y adaptor to my receiver. Since you already have 2 mirage subs maybe you can answer my question. Does the blue power light stay on when in the "auto off" mode? Any information would be awesome. Thanks.

As for the crossover question I always play with the settings. I start at what the manual says then go +/- 10-20 Hz. Mine says it should be as close to 120hz, so I just play with it to see what I like as long as I'm in the ballpark.

The blue light should go off after not sensing a signal for a while.  Thanks for the info!

Actually I talked to another support person and the light stays on, on the mm-6 sub. It goes into sleep mode and slowly fades in an out. It was just weird that the manual says nothing about this. Oh well, learn by experience I guess.
